DIY Tutorial - Button Rings
What a fun project for the kids! Have them sort through value bags of buttons to make up these awesome little rings. Buttons, a glue gun, and some ring blanks are all you'll need.

DIY Tutorial - Mason Jar Soap Pump

Pump Up a Plain Mason Jar
Who knew these classic glass canisters could clean up so well? To repurpose one as a soap dispenser, measure and mark the center of the jar's lid. Drill a hole approximately half an inch wide, at the marked spot, to fit the width of a soap dispenser pump ($3.75; onedreamdesign.com) . Fill the jar with liquid soap, insert the pump (and trim, if needed), and start washing.

DIY Tutorial - Turn Doilies into Pendant Lighting
I love this project. On the same vein as the string made pendant lights, this one uses doilies. I'm wondering how tea dyed doiles would look? Vintage, or just dirty? Cotton doilies could easily be dyed to just about any colour though. This one is definately on my to do list at some point.

DIY Tutorial - Garden Art Leaf Sculpture
I've come across a few tutorials for these awesome little stones. This has been on my to try list for quite some time, along with some concrete planters. Hopefully, one weekend this summer I'll get a chance to try it out.
You'll need to find some pretty big leaves though. I don't think I have anything quite this big growing near me. A nature walk is in order I think. I do have some wild rhubarb that stubbornly likes to grow in my stone path. I don't let them get that big though! ;-)
